Power: Next-Generation Power and Storage Solutions

Cybersecurity has become an essential requirement for critical energy infrastructure. As cyberattacks and geopolitical tensions rise, the EU’s NIS2 Directive — transposed in Italy through Legislative Decree 138/2024 and reinforced by the National Cyber Security Perimeter, Golden Power, CVCN, and CSIRT Italia — imposes stringent obligations on operators and their entire supply chain: technical measures, transparency, strict incident-reporting deadlines, and direct management liability. This presentation outlines the Italian regulatory framework, the exposure facing energy operators, and, through a real-world project in Lithuania, demonstrates how Rolls-Royce embeds security by design across every layer of its systems.

  • Daniele Di Franco: NIS2 & Cybersecurity

Daniele Di Franco
Senior Sales Manager Stationary & Sustainable, Rolls-Royce Solutions Italia

15:55 - 16:15

Carbon Capture: From Ambition to Deployment

Carbon capture is expected to play a critical role in reducing emissions from hard-to-abate sectors. Key areas of focus include project progress, commercial models, infrastructure requirements and what is needed to accelerate deployment across Europe. The importance of engineering capability, project execution expertise and integrated delivery solutions will also be central in turning ambition into operational projects.

    • Lorenzo Montemezzo: From Ambition to Deployment: Bonatti's experience in design and construction of Carbon Capture projects

Lorenzo Montemezzo
Head of Commercial Green Systems, Bonatti
