EIConnect (Middle East) 2007

14 - 15 March 2007
Sheraton Bahrain Hotel and Towers, Bahrain

Bookings will be taken at MEOS (please go to EIC stand no 125 in the UK Group) and on the morning of the conference at 11 am on Wednesday 14th March.

The inaugural EIConnect was held in London with great success in 2004, followed by the award-winning (Export Initiative Award) triumph of EIConnect in 2006, which attracted an audience of almost 400 delegates each day. The objective of EIConnect Middle East 2007 is to provide a regional forum for companies involved in the supply chain to meet with key operators in the region. Under the Patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain Ali Mirza, Minister of State Bahrain and Chairman of the National Oil & Gas Authority, EIConnect Middle East 2007 will follow on from MEOS 2007 and will take place at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel and Towers on 14-15 March 2007.

By attending EIConnect ME you will have the opportunity to:

  • Hear up to 15 presentations, held simultaneously in groups of 5 over a one and a half day period, from the leading international operators and contractors shown above.
  • Learn about company structure and organisation; key decision makers with their contact details; how to get on to vendors and suppliers lists; local content requirements; technical approval; projects and projected Capex over the next three years; the need to register with the State Oil Company and many other topics.

  • Book one-to-one meetings with the key subject matter experts and decision makers from speaker companies.

  • Explore global opportunities locally.

  • Get to know the industry leaders in a relaxed and more informal setting after the event.

How it Works

Commencing after lunch on Wednesday 14th March 2007, 5 companies will present simultaneously.  Another 5 companies will present throughout Thursday morning, with a further 5 companies throughout Thursday afternoon.  Each presenting company will be positioned in a stand segment seating approximately 50 people within our innovative arrangements of booths.

Presentations will last approximately 25 to 30 minutes. The audience will then be given the opportunity to ask questions and to network with the speakers. This activity is repeated hourly throughout the day.

The advantage of this routine is that delegates are able to both listen and talk to a wide range of participating companies using a “pick ‘n’ mix” approach.
