Offshore South East Asia (OSEA)
5 – 8 December 2006
OSEA, the 16th International Oil & Gas Industry Exhibition & Conference took place from the 5th – 8th December at the Suntec, Singapore.
In the Offshore sector, Singapore’s shipyards are world leaders in the construction of oil rigs and the conversion of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading platforms (FPSO’s). It also has the largest base of oil and gas equipment manufacturing companies in Asia.
The UK Group organised by the Energy Industries Council had a very strong presence, represented by 41 companies and accompanied 510.5 square metres. The UK Group shell scheme and branding was excellent and received many compliments.
The Embassy hosted reception took place on Wednesday 6th December, an evening where exhibitors and visitors mingled over a delectable spread of food and a joyous flow of wine.
Held at Muddy Murphy’s, the Industry Networking Night was the perfect event for the industry delegates and exhibitors to unwind in the lively Irish atmosphere over beer and snacks.
In all, OSEA 2006 presented 966 participants from 46 countries/regions and group pavilions from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Norway, UK and USA.
The exhibition ended on a high note, having brought together more than 10,000 visitors and more than 900 exhibiting companies for yet another constructive technology and market intelligence exchange and aplenty networking opportunities!
A fantastic show that has enabled us to meet our current customer base face to face, network and a show that exceeded our expectations with potentially more clients than we could have hoped for.
