Moscow International Oil & Gas Exhibition (MIOGE)
26 – 29 June 2007
The 9th Moscow International Oil & Gas Exhibition (MIOGE), the largest oil and gas event in Russia and FSU took place from 26th – 29th June 2007 and showed an unbelievable growth of 40%.
This year had a record-breaking attendance of 28,000 visitors.
23,500 m2 of space was taken up by the 850 exhibiting companies from 40 countries, giving them the opportunity to showcase the latest technologies, products and services.
Managed by the Energy Industries Council, the UK Group was represented by 17 companies including Arcon Overseas Ltd, Decisioneering (UK) Ltd, Heatric, Houghton PLC, Howden Process Compressors Ltd, ICS Triplex Silvertech Limited, Johnson Matthey, Katronic Technologies Ltd, Kemet International Limited, Legrand Electric Ltd, ODS Petrodata, Peter Brotherhood Ltd, Redapt Engineering Co. Limited, Rolls-Royce, Rotork Controls, Shipham Valves, Steel Plate & Sections Ltd.
UKTI sponsored the brochure “A Guide to the UK Group at MIOGE”, which gave the UK Group additional publicity and exposure and was available to visitors for the duration of the exhibition.
New Sections at MIOGE 2007 included:
Geophysics and Geology, Oilcareerfair, Environment and Safety, Refining, Processing and Petrochemicals, Transportation and Pipelines.
HMA Anthony Brenton CMG hosted the UK group reception at his residence. It was a lovely, warm evening of networking, drinks and snacks in the garden which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
