15th Kazakhstan International Oil & Gas Exhibition (KIOGE)

The 15th Kazakhstan International Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference, (KIOGE), took place from 2- 5 October 2007 in the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
KIOGE is supported by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the national oil and gas company KazMunayGas. The events platinum sponsor is Chevron.
The UK Group, managed by the Energy Industries Council was made up by the following companies: BEL Valves, Cameron's Measurement Systems Division, Centek Ltd, Corrotherm International Limited, Ellis Patents Ltd, eProduction Solutions, FSC Global Ltd, HFI Ventures Limited, ICS Triplex Silvertech Ltd , Koso Kent Introl Ltd, Parker Hannifin Ltd, Proclad International Ltd, Rotork Controls, Seismic Micro-Technology Europe, Ltd, Steel Plate & Sections Ltd, Swagelok London, TC Fluid Control Limited, Velosi.
UK branding on both the stands in the form of light boxes and the big ceiling banners were key to the success of drawing visitors to the group.
His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, Duke of York attended the Exhibition on the second day. The VIP Tour was escorted around the entire UK Group and the Duke of York personally spoke to each company.
There was a great atmosphere and lots of excitement within the UK Group.
The joint Reception that evening was hosted by the HMA Paul Brummell and the Ambassador to the USA with His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, Duke of York as the VIP guest. His speech was superb and the entire evening of networking was enjoyed by everyone.
The KIOGE Exhibition grew by 10% this year to 21,000m2 (11,306m2 net) and featured 578 exhibitors, 120 of which were new to the event. Thirty countries were represented at KIOGE, including national pavilions from Canada, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Turkey. The Exhibition attracted 9,595 registered visitors.
