 With over 100 places booked, a presentation from ConocoPhillips always promised to be a popular one. Andy Mansbridge from Prominent Fluid Controls UK started things of with a 15 minutes member slot, giving a brief over view of what the company does. After Andy’s presentation Dorothy Daldry, Supply Chain Lead Business Planning & Supply Analysis at ConocoPhillips started her presentation of with background information on the company, she then followed on by talking about how the company is currently investing their money. She went on to talk about the company’s commitment to safety. Dorothy also talked about what current projects they are working on and also what future projects they have coming up. She also spoke about how potential suppliers can get involved. She finished her presentation off by giving out key procurement contacts with in ConocoPhillips. Dorothy’s presentation was very well received by all that attended and it provoked several interesting questions. Lunch was followed by a subsea forum which involved an informal discussion of subsea projects. We were very lucky to be joined by Phil Dymond, Supply Chain Lead & Supply Chain Analysis at ConocoPhillips who answered any further project related questions concerning ConocoPhillips that came up.
