Speaker Information

Over the course of the day, British Energy, Aker Solutions, Doosan Babcock, PB Power, Jacobs, Nukem, VT Nuclear and Costain will give presentations.

However due to the size of the venue these will be run as two sets of four speaker presentations. Four companies will be presenting simultaneously during the morning session and the remaining four companies will present simultaneously during the afternoon session

Presentation are repeated four times during either the morning or afternoon session. The speaker and any colleagues will be able to participate as delegates during the morning or afternoon session when they are not presenting.

Hartlepool Power Station - Nick Collins
Born in Hartlepool - educated at Hartlepool Grammar School. Joined industry in 1979. Graduate sponsored. Chartered Electrical Engineer 24 years at Hartlepool - various roles in engineeering and maintenance. Maintenance Manager, Strategic Outage Manager - Seven months at Heysham 2 as strategic outage manager. Currently Plant Manager at Hartlepool Power Station.

IAEA - Nestor H. Cravero
The IAEA is the world´s center of cooperation in the nuclear field. It was set up as the world´s "Atoms for Peace" organization in 1957 within the United Nations family. The Agency works with its Member States and multiple partners worldwide to promote safe, secure and peaceful nuclear technologies.

The IAEA Secretariat is headquartered at the Vienna International Centre in Vienna, Austria. Operational liaison and regional offices are located in Geneva, Switzerland; New York, USA; Toronto, Canada; and Tokyo, Japan. The IAEA runs or supports research centers and scientific laboratories in Vienna and Seibersdorf, Austria; Monaco; and Trieste, Italy.
