Panel 1- Pre-salt and beyond: business opportunities with key players in the E&P market

Brazil continues to occupy a leading position in oil and gas exploration and production within the region. In its efforts to sustain plateau production, the country is expected to intensify drilling activity through additional exploration wells. Key questions arise regarding the prospective outcomes of the Equatorial Margin drilling activity and the extent to which these developments may influence national production levels. New technologies present new opportunities for E&P. What role will AI play in enhancing operational efficiency across the industry? Will its technologies influence sustainability and environmental strategies? Will it influence workforce skills and training requirements?

Confirmed Speakers:

Rodrigo Rocha
Business Development Manager - Modec
Larissa Sigiliano
Business Development Director - SBM Offshore

10:40AM - 11:10AM

Networking Break

11:10AM - 12:40PM

Panel 2 - The Role of Natural Gas in Brazil’s Energy Transition

With Brazil advancing new LNG terminals, pipeline networks and large-scale combined-cycle power plants (CCPP) to add up to the country’s current operational capacity, natural gas is expected to expand its strategic role in the country’s energy landscape. Seen as an ally to energy transition initiatives because of its lower carbon footprint when compared to other fossil fuels, gas is increasingly positioned at the centre of Brazil’s medium-term energy strategy. What is expected for this industry? What are the main opportunities for upcoming projects and operational plants? Who are the key players involved in the business?

12:40PM - 13:40PM

Networking Lunch

13:40PM - 14:30PM

Panel 3 - Data Centres and the Reshape of Energy Infrastructure

How fast can new technology reshape the energy industry? This is the question we ask when focusing on how AI and Cloud expansion have become fundamental parts of the sector. New developments reorganise the production and supply of goods and services, as well as the relationship between companies throughout the energy market. Data centres have rapidly evolved from digital back-office infrastructure into one of the world’s fastest-growing and most energy-intensive industries, and have redirected suppliers, constructors and operators towards what projected to more-than-double around 945 TWh by 2030 — roughly equivalent to Japan’s current power demand. The need of constant reliable energy is already reshaping both traditional and newly settled roles of those in market and setting in motion changes over which further discussion and understanding is a must for those affected and interested in these innovations.

14:30PM - 15:30PM

Panel 4 - Green Energy Revolution: From Ambition to Commercial Scale

Brazil’s energy transition has moved beyond legislative momentum and into early commercial implementation across emerging clean energy segments such as sustainable fuels, carbon capture and storage, and low-carbon hydrogen. Recent developments, including the launch of the National Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy at COP30 and the first domestic deliveries of SAF, signal tangible progress while also highlighting the challenges ahead. As the debate shifts from ambition to execution, what conditions are still required for Brazil to scale SAF, CCS and hydrogen into commercially viable industries?

Confirmed Speakers:

Jair Toledo
General Manager of Renewable Energy Project Development and Implementation - Petrobras

15:30PM - 16:00PM

Networking Break

16:00PM - 17:30PM

Panel 5 - Underwater Infrastructure: Exploring Opportunities in Brazil's Subsea Market

Brazil is a well-established technology producer of equipment serving as a reference point for other countries, through its ability to deliver infrastructure and expertise abroad. With exploration activity on the rise and growing demand for SURF and SPS equipment, how is the market positioning itself to meet these supply needs? From the perspective of the companies involved, what does the current landscape look like? And are new technologies being developed to address these evolving requirements?
