EIC launches brand new support pack for exhibitors
29 April, 2020
The Energy Industries Council (EIC) is excited to announce a brand-new Exhibitor Support Kit to assist its exhibitors at a time when the global outbreak of COVID-19 has caused significant upheaval and uncertainty within the industry.
With all major energy exhibitions planned for the next four months being postponed until the second half of 2020, the EIC’s overseas events team aims to help its exhibitors make the most of this time by offering the services included in the Exhibitor Support Kit.
Support will include exhibitor training, building market knowledge, targeting potential customers and importantly, connecting with fellow exhibitors and EIC members to discuss and share views on current topics.
EIC will be partnering with various companies and institutions in order to bring more value, exposure and networking opportunities to its exhibitors and will offer speaking opportunities, discounted rates for other events, and virtual 1-to-1 meetings with DIT advisers and buyers.
In addition to this, EIC have created a new platform open to EIC members and UK Pavilion Exhibitors via LinkedIn Forums. The aim is to share updates, knowledge and engage with fellow UK Pavilion exhibitors and EIC members across its full exhibitions and delegations event calendar.
EIC has also recently launched an insightful series of Live E-vents bringing events directly to the online world, allowing continued sharing of advice, project opportunities and market updates with experts globally.
The support packs are available on the EIC exhibitions page and will be updated regularly.
Undoubtedly the events and exhibitions industry is incredibly resilient, and the need to interact and exchange information face-to-face will result in a recovery in time. However, the impact of COVID-19 may change the way we work going forward.
