BP signs LNG supply agreement with ENN in China
09 July, 2020
Supermajor BP has signed a natural gas supply agreement with ENN Group to support the growing energy needs of China’s southern Guangdong region.
Under the terms of the agreement, BP will supply approximately 300,000 tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for two years, starting in 2021.
The LNG will be received and re-gasified at the LNG receiving terminal of Guangdong Dapeng LNG (GDLNG) Company.
BP is the first international energy company to invest in an operating LNG terminal in China to date, and holds a 30% stake in GDLNG.
