About Bankable Energies

The EIC Bankable Energies Report is an annual research series exploring what it takes to turn energy ambition into financeable, deliverable projects.

The research began with the Net Zero Jeopardy Reports in 2024 and 2025, examining the growing gap between net-zero ambition and project delivery. In 2026, the series evolved into the Bankable Energies Report, broadening the focus to understand what enables projects to secure investment and reach Final Investment Decision (FID).

Combining EIC project intelligence with interviews and insights from senior industry leaders, each edition looks at the key factors shaping project bankability, including demand and offtake, revenue certainty, policy stability, risk and deliverability.
