Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, through subsidiary Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind Project 1, has chosen Ramboll for the design and engineering of turbine foundations at the company’s offshore wind farm in New Jersey.
The developer of the 1.5GW facility comes from a partnership between Shell New Energies US and EDF-RE Offshore Development.
Ramboll will carry out activities with its teams in the United States and Europe.
The Atlantic Shores offshore wind farm will be builkt approximately 25km off the coast of Atlantic City. It’s planned to energize over 700,000 homes starting in 2027.
