Fulkrum has been awarded a contract for inspection services for the Dogger Bank A offshore wind project. Activities might be extended to cover lots B and C as well.
The contractor will look after the plant’s quality and conformity aspects according to standards, which will be applied to turbines, blades, tower sections and nacelle.
In total, the Dogger Bank project encompasses the installation of 277 GE Haliade-X 13-14MW turbines. To be completed off the coast of Yorkshire, England, it will be the world’s largest offshore wind farm.
