Green Genius has disclosed plans for new renewable power plants in Lithuania, all to be completed until 2025. According to the developer, 200MW of wind farms capacity and 500MW of solar parks will be installed in the country in the next years.
Spread all over Lithuania, some of these projects will also be implemented through a hybrid wind-solar model as well.
Total investment required for the 700MW project pipeline, which will prevent the annual emission of approximately 556,000 tons of CO2, is calculated at €750m.
In February, Green Genius acquired an 85MW wind farm in Lithuania. A specific location for this facility is yet to be disclosed.
