The first panels of Enel Green Power’s Madre Vieja solar power plant have been installed. The 31MW project is being built in the province of Chiriquí, Panama.
Covering approximately 33 hectares, the plant will feature in total 68,580 monocrystalline panels, of which 754 mounting structures have already been put in place.
Madre Vieja is the second phase of a trio of solar projects, including the 13MW Jaguito and the 26MW Esperanza. Combined output will serve seven large Panamanian customers.
