Strike Energy to commence drilling at South Erregulla-1

12 Jan 2022

Strike Energy Limited provided an update on drilling operations at its 100%-owned South Erregulla target in EP503.

The mobilization of the Ensign 970 rig has been completed and the rig is ready to begin drilling operations at the SE1 well.

Minor delays have been encountered to the spud of the well whilst Strike and Ensign mobilised the required staff into quarantine ahead to border closures in Western Australia at the end of 2021. These personnel on clearance are anticipated to start full duties and spud SE1 by the end of this week.

Additional preparatory activities for spud will be carried out in lead up to commencement of full operations to guarantee that the projected drilling program is completed on time.
