HSM Offshore has confirmed that the jacket for one of the Thor substations has been successfully rolled out. The 1GW power plant is currently being built off the coast of Denmark.
Thor is the largest wind power development under construction in the country. The offshore wind farm will feature 72 turbines by Siemens Gamesa.
The jacket will support one of a total of two substations (one at sea and one at land). The facilities will be responsible for connecting Thor to the grid starting 2027.
