In a recent announcement, Clearway Energy Group has disclosed that financing for its Cedar Creek Wind project has been fully secured. The 152MW wind farm in Bingham County, Idaho, will be able to power 41,000 households every year.
Credit facilities have been provided by a consortium of banks including Societe Generale as the coordinating lead arranger and Crédit Agricole CIB, CoBank, and KeyBanc as joint lead arrangers.
Cedar Creek Wind received about US$322m of construction and equity bridge loans, US$37m of letters of credit, and a US$122m term loan.
Start-up of the project is expected in 2024, as it now moves to the construction phase.
