BW Energy has announced the third operational well of the first development phase of the Hibiscus/Ruche offshore project in Gabon. The well in question is the DHIBM-5H, under the Dussafu licence, which was drilled by the Boor Norve jack-up rig.
The production performance of the well follows BW Energy's expectations. According to the operator, it currently produces about 6,000 barrels per day.
The Boor Norve jack-up rig is now carrying out the drilling for Hibiscus/Ruche's fourth production well, DHIBM-6H.
Completion of the project is scheduled for 2024, with a total production of up to 40,000 barrels per day.
