Dominion Energy and RWE have firmed eight long-term, utility-scale power purchase agreements (PPAs) related to several solar power projects in the state of Virginia, United States.
The initiatives covered by the deal include, among others, a 75MW photovoltaic (PV) solar farm to be built in Wythe County.
According to the PPAs, RWE, owner and operator of the projects, will provide over 300MW of generation capacity to Dominion Energy. This is enough to deliver more than 750,000MWh of generation.
The agreements are part of Dominion Energy's efforts to become a net-zero company by 2050.
