ITOCHU Corporation has firmed an investment agreement in the Prairie Switch project through a special purpose entity with Fengate and GE Energy Financial Services. The value of the investment, however, has not been disclosed.
Prairie Switch is a wind farm currently under construction in Texas, United States. Once complete, the power plant’s 48 wind turbines will have an installed capacity of 160MW.
An offtaker agreement with Meta Platforms has already been secured.
