Equinor Energy AS, as technical service provider (TSP), and on behalf of current and potential members of the Pipeline Repair and Subsea Intervention (PRSI) pool, is inviting contractors to show interest for the pre-qualification process, related to marine services for subsea intervention and repair contingency.
The contracts will be valid for use for all future members in the PRSI pool. Today, amongst the 22 operating companies that are members in the pool co-operation, there are some companies planning to cover their subsea power cable repair contingency via the PRSI pool.
Amongst these are Baltic Cable AB, Energinet Eltransmission A/S, National Grid Viking Link Ltd, National Grid IFA2 Ltd, National Grid Interconnectors Ltd, National grid North Sea Link Ltd, Svenska Kraftnät, TenneT Offshore 1 Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, TenneT Offshore 7 Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, TenneT Offshore 9 Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Tennet Offshore DolWin3 GmbH & Co KG, DC Nordseekabel GmbH & Co KG, TenneT TSO GmbH, TenneT TSO BV, and TenneT Offshore GmbH.
Typical scope of work can consist of various types of remote interventions as well as pipeline tie-ins and repairs, riser replacements, hot-tap installations, handling and repair of subsea high voltage cables and subsea interventions related to ad-hoc Equinor IMR operations (inspection, maintenance and repair) including replacement of heavy subsea modules, typically subsea compressor modules with a weight up to 400Te.
The scope is both to cover the need for unplanned contingency operations and planned operations.
