EnerMech has secured an agreement from Subsea7 to deliver pipeline and subsea pre-commissioning services for the Ginger development. Operated by BP, the offshore project is located off the south-east coast of Trinidad and Tobago in water depths of 90m.
The comprehensive work scope encompasses flushing, hydrotesting, water filling, leak testing and commissioning support. These activities will prepare the field's subsea production system for upcoming operations. The asset features four subsea wells tied back to the existing Mahogany B platform, targeting first gas in 2027.
To execute the campaign, EnerMech will leverage its established regional presence. The firm plans to utilise local personnel and equipment positioned within the Caribbean, supported by its global subsea specialists, ensuring efficient project delivery while boosting domestic supply chain participation.
