US engineering firm Fluor Corporation has been appointed by Aramco as a programme management consultancy (PMC) contractor under a new long-term agreement. The partnership positions Fluor to oversee future capital projects across the Saudi operator's extensive global portfolio.
Under the framework, Fluor will provide a comprehensive suite of services spanning pre-front end engineering and design (pre-FEED), FEED, detailed engineering and procurement oversight. The scope also encompasses construction management and programme execution across Aramco’s upcoming upstream, downstream, petrochemical and infrastructure developments.
This latest award extends an 80-year operational history for Fluor in Saudi Arabia, building on decades of delivering complex industrial facilities. Pierre Bechelany, President of Energy Solutions at Fluor, stated the agreement allows the deployment of the company's expertise to support Aramco’s operational efficiency and sustainable growth targets.
