TechnipFMC has been awarded a significant subsea contract by Azule Energy, a joint venture between BP and Eni, for the Greater PAJ development offshore Angola. The agreement, valued between US$75m and US$250m, will be included in the firm's inbound orders for the second quarter of 2026.
Under the contract, the energy services company will design and manufacture flexible flowlines and risers. This essential infrastructure will connect deepwater wells, located in water depths approaching 2,000m, to a new floating production unit.
Azule Energy’s US$5.1bn project is a crucial component of Angola's strategy to sustain offshore output by targeting deepwater reserves. By deploying its proven flexible pipe technology on an accelerated schedule, TechnipFMC continues to cement its position as a leading subsea supplier across West Africa's active offshore basins.
