Partrac has been contracted to conduct a comprehensive metocean survey campaign for the North Falls Offshore Wind Farm, located approximately 40 kilometres off the East Anglian coast. The operation will utilize the vessel CT Vector to deploy monitoring equipment starting on or after February 18, 2026. The survey is scheduled to run for 12 to 18 months, gathering critical environmental data to support the project's engineering design.
The North Falls project, a joint venture between SSE Renewables and RWE, is proposed as an extension to the existing Greater Gabbard wind farm. With an agreement for lease of up to 504 MW, the development could feature up to 57 turbines across a 95-square-kilometre site. The project is currently awaiting a final Development Consent Order (DCO) decision from the UK Secretary of State, which has been rescheduled for April 28, 2026.
