EIC announces winners across collaboration, technology, digital innovation and service categories for 2025.
Kuala Lumpur, 26 November 2025:
The Energy Industries Council (EIC) held its Regional Awards Asia Pacific Gala in Kuala Lumpur on Friday last week to recognise delivery, technology leadership and growth across the region’s energy supply chain. The ceremony forms part of the World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCAs), now the largest awards programme of its kind, with annual events in London, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Houston and Rio de Janeiro.
EIC is one of the world’s largest energy trade associations, providing project data, market intelligence, events and advocacy for supply chain businesses worldwide.
This year, nine companies were shortlisted for WESCAs across four categories: Collaboration, People & Transformation, Technology & Sustainability, Innovation & Digital and Service & Solutions. Entries were judged on evidence-focused case studies published through the EIC’s Survive & Thrive programme, which tracks proven strategies across global markets.
The event was attended by the Rt Hon. Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), and the Hon. Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee, Chairman of Gas Malaysia Berhad, alongside a host of senior government officials and business leaders.
Commenting on the awards, Stuart Broadley, CEO of the EIC, said: “Asia Pacific sits at the centre of long-term energy demand and the supply chain here shows a level of innovation and resilience that sets a strong benchmark. These awards recognise teams that deliver, solve real problems and build the momentum that keeps our industry moving.
“We remain committed to supporting the Asia Pacific supply chain with the intelligence and relationships that turn opportunity into delivery and to linking it with experienced global supply chain companies across all energy sectors.”
Ts Syed Saggaf Syed Ahmad, EIC Regional Director, Asia Pacific, said: “A core part of our mission is to help our members succeed in international markets. The Energy Industries Council does this by bringing together companies, governments and other stakeholders across the Asia Pacific to share lessons and explore opportunities.
“Initiatives like our EIC WESCAs industry excellence recognition programme showcase this collaboration in action. Our focus is on opening doors, connecting members and providing the strategic insight needed to move with confidence. This region has powerful momentum and we are committed to helping our members build on it.”
