Regional gala honours companies driving innovation, optimisation, and growth across North and Central America’s energy sector.
Houston, 16 Oct 2025:
The Energy Industries Council (EIC) hosted its 30th Anniversary and World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCAs) Regional Gala in Houston last week, recognising delivery and leadership across the energy supply chain and welcoming new EIC Global Ambassadors from the North America region.
The EIC awards were introduced in 2005 and now run globally, with regional events in London, Rio de Janeiro, Houston, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur.
This year’s judging panel comprised 72 judges who looked at 140 submissions from 17 countries. Judging was based on evidence-focused case studies published in the EIC’s Survive & Thrive annual report, which tracks proven growth strategies across the energy supply chain.
Stuart Broadley, CEO of the EIC, said:
“The WESCAs celebrate what the supply chain delivers and how businesses continue to survive and thrive in the face of constant challenges. This is a special year as we mark 30 years in North America. Through these awards we shine a light on great businesses, the results they achieve, and the ideas that move our industry forward.”
Amanda Duhon, Regional Director, North & Central America, said:
“Houston is a launchpad for the supply chain across the Americas, and the WESCAs recognise teams that solve real problems, have a proven track record of innovation and optimisation, and win entry to new export markets. We’re also welcoming new EIC Global Ambassadors from the North America region. They are leaders who open doors to projects and partners, share insight, and back our members.”
She added:
“The EIC gives companies what they need to win work, including market intelligence, data platforms, and a network that cuts risk and finds partners. Through EIC Consult, EICDataStream, EICAssetMap, and EICSupplyMap, we turn information into opportunity. Added to that is our events and advocacy work, which help members get access, context, and a path to growth.”
The 2025 North America WESCAs winners are:
AVEVA: Innovation – For advancing connected engineering platforms that tighten project delivery and lift digital performance across complex assets.
Belzona: Resilience and Transformation – For reshaping its model toward solutions-led delivery and expanding into new sectors while strengthening position.
Fulkrum: People, Culture and Optimisation – For scaling on a people-first operating system that sustains service quality and operational discipline.
Infrastructure Networks: Solutions and Scale Up – For evolving from bandwidth resale to managed networks, bundling technologies into field-ready connectivity at scale.

EIC Houston at 30
The EIC established its Houston office in 1995, its first international base and the model for future global growth. In 2016, the City of Houston proclaimed Energy Industries Council Day, marking the office’s role in the region. Over three decades, EIC Houston has become a central hub for UK and international supply chain companies entering the Americas, providing market intelligence, events, and trade support.
