Deepsea Technologies UK Ltd. has successfully completed the delivery of a specialist heat exchanger package featuring its industry-proven Taper-Lok® connection technology, reinforcing the company's reputation for delivering high-integrity engineered solutions to critical energy infrastructure projects.

Working in partnership with leading Italian heavy engineering and manufacturing company Brembana & Rolle S.p.A., Deepsea Technologies was selected to design and supply Taper-Lok® flanges for four new shell-and-tube heat exchangers destined for deployment in the Eastern Mediterranean. The award highlights the continued confidence that major engineering contractors place in Taper-Lok® technology for safety-critical applications where reliability and long-term performance are paramount.

Throughout the project, Deepsea Technologies worked closely with Brembana & Rolle from the initial tender stage through detailed engineering, manufacturing support, project management and final delivery. The close collaboration between both organisations ensured efficient execution, clear communication and the successful delivery of a technically demanding package to the highest quality standards.

The scope of work included the supply of Taper-Lok® flanges and associated hardware, comprehensive project management, engineering design verification and ongoing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Despite the complex project requirements, the package was delivered successfully while maintaining a strong focus on quality, performance and customer satisfaction.

For more than 50 years, Taper-Lok® has been trusted across the global energy industry, achieving thousands of leak-free installations in some of the world's most demanding offshore and onshore environments. The technology offers significant operational advantages, including leak-free reliability, weight and space savings, rapid installation and misalignment capabilities of up to 10°. Taper-Lok® connectors are also designed with diver-friendly features that enhance safety and simplify subsea installation activities.

The versatile connection system is widely used across topside facilities, subsea pipelines, risers, tie-ins, process systems, heat exchangers and other critical applications where sealing integrity and operational reliability are essential.

Taper-Lok® pressure-energised and enhanced connectors are engineered to deliver one of the safest and most dependable, bolted sealing solutions available today. Available in sizes ranging from ¾ inch to 85 inches, the technology offers exceptional design flexibility while helping operators reduce maintenance requirements, minimise operational risk and improve long-term asset performance.

The project was completed with an exemplary health, safety and environmental (HSE) record, achieving zero lost-time incidents throughout execution.
