Score has announced two significant contract successes that reinforce its role as a trusted partner in Europe’s energy transition, delivering technical excellence in carbon capture and emissions reduction.

The company has secured multiple purchase orders from INEOS Energy for the Greensand project – one of Europe’s most ambitious carbon storage initiatives. Under the contract, Score will supply 480 custom-engineered manual and actuated valves, each designed for reliability in challenging operational conditions. This achievement follows close technical collaboration with INEOS Energy to ensure optimal performance and long-term safety.

The Greensand project is central to Denmark’s and the EU’s climate strategy, aiming to store 400,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, with capacity set to grow to 8m tonnes per year by 2030. This major contract further cements Score’s position as a leader in carbon reduction technologies.

This contract win comes on the back of Score securing three new framework agreements in Denmark to deliver leak detection and repair (LDAR) services – for INEOS Energy’s offshore assets in the North Sea, Ørsted’s Nybro gas treatment plant and Energinet’s gas storage facilities at Lille Torup and Stenlille.

These awards underline the trust placed in Score by leading European energy operators and reflect the depth of expertise within its global team. The company’s LDAR programmes will also help clients meet the requirements of EU Regulation 2024/1787, supporting the shift to stricter environmental performance standards.

As part of the LDAR services, Score is collaborating with its digital solutions partner asset55 to combine engineered valve technology with advanced software capabilities. Asset55’s Operate platform will act as the project’s digital backbone, providing emissions dashboards, survey data migration, image documentation and workflow optimisation to ensure compliance with EU regulations. This software-led approach enhances precision and transparency across carbon storage operations and creates scalable digital infrastructure to support the project’s growth. The collaboration demonstrates the combined strength of Score and asset55 in delivering integrated, technology-driven solutions that accelerate the energy transition.
