AG&P Group, through its subsidiary Gas Entec, and local partner Issa Haddadin have been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Jordan.
The consortium received the contract from Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), the state-owned developer of a regasification terminal at the port of Aqaba.
The project includes a 720mmscfd onshore LNG regasification facility, marine works, jetty topside work and other associated elements. Commissioning is expected to take place within the next 22 months.
