Adani Energy Solutions has announced financial closure for its transmission project in Mumbai, India. Planned to link the Kudus and Aarey power stations, the initiative will establish an 80km high voltage direct current (HVDC) line.
The developer has disclosed that the US$700m financial closure was secured with nine banks, including Société Génerale, DBS Bank, and MUFG Bank.
Total investment required for the Kudus-Aarey project is calculated at US$1bn. Commissioning is expected in 2027.
