Global engineering leader Score has officially acquired BLJ In-Situ Solutions in Australia, a respected mechanical maintenance and turnaround specialist headquartered in Redlands, Queensland. This acquisition marks a significant strategic milestone for both organisations and reinforces Score’s ambition to grow its global footprint and service offering.

BLJ was founded over 20 years ago to provide specialist mechanical maintenance and turnaround services to the Australian engineering sector. Today, BLJ is a leading name in site maintenance and shutdown support, with established workshops in Brisbane and Gladstone, Queensland, Australia.

The acquisition enables Score to expand its capabilities in on-site services, leveraging BLJ’s strong customer relationships and regional expertise. BLJ’s proven track record complements Score’s extensive global operations, engineering knowledge, and drive for innovation.

Score, headquartered in Aberdeen, UK, is a global leader in advanced engineering technology services in the fields of valve and emission management, gas turbines, surface technologies, energy, defence and aerospace. With more than 40 years of experience, the company operates from over 30 locations across five continents.
