Downing Renewables & Infrastructure Trust Plc (DORE) has announced the completion of the acquisition of a 96MWp portfolio of around 50 solar PV assets located in mainland UK and Northern Ireland for a total consideration of £42m.
The portfolio comprises of 13 ground-mounted sites located across mainland UK totalling 73 MWp; 28 commercial rooftop assets totalling 10 MWp; and seven residential rooftop portfolios in Northern Ireland totalling 13MWp.
The assets have an average operating track record of around six years and generated revenue of £12.5m and EBITDA of £9.9m in the year to 31 March 2020.
This is the second acquisition that DORE has announced since its £122.5m IPO on the London Stock Exchange in December 2020 and a total of £102m has now been deployed.
