Oliver Valves won multiple project packages on the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) project. Since 2021, Oliver has been working closely with digital control system suppliers on the project to offer specialised engineering support and guidance, in particular around Pressure Transmitter Manifold Bids. Many factors are key to building a successful working partnership and one core strength of Oliver Valves is their well-versed knowledge of project specifications in the region, and this proved invaluable and instilled confidence in the supplier’s team to go on to win the bids.
Oliver Valves have provided customised valve solutions since 1979. In this time, engineers have trailblazed the way in valve design, safety and innovation and have set industry benchmarks in standards. Cost and lead-times were two major considerations for the project bids. Engineer and procurement teams worked tirelessly to value engineer manifold designs and source the raw exotic material that was required, and meet budget expectations.

The project, which is one of the world’s largest natural gas fields, is situated off the north-east coast of the Qatar peninsula. There are two complexes that make up the project, which include two fixed steel jacket compression platforms, interconnecting bridges, interface modules, and living quarters.
