Engie and Google have concluded a 12-year corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) of 100MW related to the Moray West offshore wind project, under development by Ocean Winds in Scotland.
According to the PPA, Engie will be Google’s supplier of over 5TWh of green energy which will be sourced from Moray West.
The plant is an 882MW development in Moray Firth carried out by EDPR Renewables and Engie through its joint venture Ocean Winds.
The facility is scheduled to enter operations in 2025.
