About this event

The workshop provides attendees with a general understanding of FPSOs (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading), considering main implementation, project and building aspects.

Intended to give a comprehensive overview of the nature and purpose of an FPSO, delegates will leave the course with a good understanding of this rapidly expanding market and practical knowledge which can be used to enhance their careers. The workshop will be delivered in Portuguese.

About the trainer
Décio Vicente Coelho Rocha is graduated in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He has 40 years’ background in projects implementation and development, including twenty years in the shipbuilding industry, plus another twenty years in the offshore market, participating in the design of the first FPSO converted in Brazil (P-34), construction of FPU units (semi-submersibles), FSOs, Jack-up drilling rigs, Shipyards, Drydocks, Offshore terminals, Offloading Mooring Buoys, Gas Treatment Units
