The EIC is glad to announce the Breakfast in Rio with Totalenergies, Neoenergia and Wood to present on 'Bridging the energy transition gap: diversification opportunities for the supply chain'.

TotalEnergies is a broad energy company whose activities surpass the diverse segments of the O&G industry, also including conventional and renewable electricity worldwide. Besides the company's operatorship of the Lapa pre-salt oil field and its participation in a number of Petrobras-operated deepwater assets in the Santos basin, Total Energies plans to install 9 GW of offshore wind capacity across three projects off Brazil's Ceará, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul states.

Wood is a global company with 40,000 professionals, across 60 countries, one of the world's leading consulting and engineering companies operating across the Energy and the Built Environment. Wood is strategically located in Brazil providing a range of services to the Oil &Gas industry including Offshore Operations and Maintenance, Topside Engineering, Subsea & Export Systems Engineering, Drilling Engineering and Asset Integrity Management. Wood Brazil also provides Engineering and Quality Assurance services to the Mining sector. Neoenergia is a publicly-held company with shares (NEOE3) traded at the São Paulo Stock Exchange. Part of the Spanish group Iberdrola, the company have been operating in Brazil since 1997 and it is currently one of the leaders in Brazilian electrical sector. Neoenergia has 4 GW of installed capacity in generation, including 88% of renewable energy, and is implementing another 0.7 GW with the construction of new wind farms. In transmission segment, there are 2.3 thousand km of lines in operation and 4.3 thousand km in construction.

Our main speaker will present their perspectives and business opportunities on clean energy and diversification. All attendees will have the chance to network with them and other peers. It's a half-day event full of networking opportunities.

For the same date, we already have confirmation from the EIC's Director of Market Intelligence - Mr. Neil Golding. He will bring some British Supply Chain experience to diversification, with an emphasis on Offshore Wind and Hydrogen, presenting opportunities and pathways for suppliers to prepare.
