Key Highlights
The Asia Pacific energy market remains active and resilient, with more than 3,400 projects under development and over US$2.44 trillion in potential investment up to 2032. While renewables and energy storage dominate project activity, oil and gas continues to account for the largest share of planned investment (CAPEX), driven by energy security, gas demand and supply resilience.
At the same time, data centre and AI growth are reshaping power demand, pushing countries to reassess generation planning, grid investment and system reliability. Geopolitical uncertainty has also reinforced the need for energy security, diversification and resilient supply chains.
This webinar will provide an overview of the region's energy landscape, key investment trends, emerging opportunities and regional challenges. These themes will be explored further at EIC CONNECT OGA 2026 on 2nd and 3rd September 2026, with deeper discussions on project execution, supply chain readiness and the realities of delivering the energy transition.
