About this event

The EIC is pleased to announce the Breakfast in Rio: Drilling & Subsea with Constellation, Oceaneering and Oceânica.

Constellation is a Brazilian company with over forty years of uninterrupted operation, specialising in offshore drilling solutions. In 2025, Constellation delivered strong results, achieving an operational uptime of 95% across its fleet and was ranked first in Petrobras' Sondópolis performance index, which evaluates uptime, efficiency, safety and overall operational performance. The company signed five new contracts throughout 2025 and, most recently, the Amaralina Star, a sixth-generation ultra-deepwater drillship, commenced its new contract with Petrobras in March 2026 following a 60-day transition, reinforcing the company's position as a benchmark for operational reliability in the Brazilian market.

Oceaneering is a global technology and engineering company that provides integrated solutions for complex challenges in subsea, onshore and space environments. Founded from the merger of diving companies in 1969, it evolved from a regional operation in the Gulf of Mexico into a world leader in specialised services and products, including remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), subsea hardware, umbilicals, intervention tooling, project management, and inspection and maintenance services. The company operates the largest and most advanced fleet of work-class ROVs in the world and applies its technological expertise to serve, in addition to the offshore energy sector, industries such as defence and logistics.

Oceânica is a leading asset integrity company in Brazil's oil and gas sector, specialising in inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) of offshore structures. In March 2026, Oceânica announced a significant milestone by signing long-term contracts with Petrobras valued at approximately US$736m (R$4.2bn). With the new agreements, the company's backlog reaches approximately R$12 billion, reinforcing its leadership position in the Brazilian offshore subsea services market. The contracts have a duration of four years, with operations scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027 and validity until 2031.
