About this event

Some of the practical supply chain challenges we have observed in the oil and energy industries are:

Lack of Visibility:
  • Logistics support for project manager handling complex engineering project
  • Incoming equipment and tools
  • Equipment and tools in transit/transfer between sites and vessels
  • Management of rented equipment, equipment repair and calibration
Lack of Vigorous Performance Management:
  • Setting logistics service level (KPIs) for internal alignment
  • Management of Logistics Service Providers
  • Reliable historical data to improve bid/tender/execution of future projects
  • Management of logistics cost by projects / sites.
In this dialog session we will be sharing some of the concepts and our own case studies in how we worked with various Oil and Energy organizations to address the above challenges.
