Mozambique is rapidly re-establishing itself as one of Africa's most exciting energy markets. Backed by an estimated 100 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of natural gas reserves and with US$71.7 billion of oil and gas opportunities currently tracked by EICDataStream, the country continues to attract investment from major international operators including TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil, Eni and their contracting partners.
Following recent progress in security and project development, Mozambique's LNG sector is regaining momentum, creating significant opportunities across the supply chain. Alongside major LNG developments such as the Mozambique LNG and Coral North projects, the country is also advancing renewable energy capacity, particularly in solar and hydroelectric power.
