The EIC is pleased to announce Breakfast in Rio: Opportunities in the Operational O&G sector with Oceaneering
Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily serving the offshore energy industry. With a well-established presence in Brazil spanning nearly three decades, the company operates the world's premier fleet of work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and maintains key facilities in the country, including an ROV centre in Macaé and an umbilical factory in Niterói. In the second quarter of last year (2025), the company announced it had been awarded multiple ROV services contracts by Petrobras following a competitive bidding process.
The new agreements, with a total estimated revenue of approximately US$180m, have a four-year term with extension options. The scope includes the provision of work-class ROVs, tooling packages and survey services to support a range of Petrobras' offshore projects, including inspection, maintenance and repair activities, FPSO hook-ups and decommissioning.
