Steve Lee, Managing Director of the Industrial Division of AMEC Group Ltd, is Chairman of the EIC. Steve is based at AMEC's Darlington offices and has held his current post since 1999. He was previously Managing Director of Costain Oil, Gas and Process to which he was appointed in 1992. Prior to that position he held the post of Managing Director of Mowlem Engineering for seven years from 1985.

Mike Major joined the EIC as Chief Executive Officer in October 2007 after forty years in industry of which thirty years were spent in process engineering contracting with Tractabel Engineering and Costain Oil Gas and Process including two years based in Houston.  Immediately prior to becoming CEO he held a senior position in RWE Npower’s Energy Solutions business.  He gained a law degree from Leeds University in 1967 and spent the early part of his career in commercial positions with Rolls Royce in Bristol and Derby.  Mike is well known in the energy industry having been a member of the EIC’s Northern Region Committee for several years.

Paul Yaghmourian joined the EIC as Chief Operating Officer in November 2007, having previously followed a fast-track career in the Foreign Office and UK Trade & Investment.  He also spent several years in industry, working in Materials Management (Philips Industries) and Market Development (British Aerospace).  As Consul General in Rio de Janeiro (2002-6) Paul led UKTI’s energy-related activities in this important market and was engaged in the formulation of UK government energy policy.

Lisa Hickey, Membership Co-Ordinator, is responsible for ensuring that the EIC develops and maintains close relationships with its members to ensure they have full knowledge of the Council¹s services and the benefits of membership. Lisa deals with all membership enquiries from recruitment through to managing the Council's TLC programme and liaises with the overseas offices to ensure member companies are benefiting from our global services.

Dr Phil Goddard, Business Information Director, has twenty years experience in the energy and utilities sectors. Phil has responsibility for all aspects relating to the EIC Database. This includes the analysis of key contract data and commercial information from our global offices which assists Members in achieving their business targets. Phil is also involved with the various Forums and in maintaining links with major operators and contractors.

Paul Main, Business Information Manager, is responsible for gathering and assessing global project information in the European Upstream and Downstream, Subsea and West African Offshore. Paul provides project tracking and specific contract information to enhance the EIC Global Database. He is also responsible for maintaining an overview of legislation and political activity and for continual analysis of business developments and opportunities within these fields.

Malin Amundsson, Business Information Manager, is responsible for researching and analysing global project information for Overseas, Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas projects, focusing on the Middle East and North African regions. Malin also provides project tracking and specific contract information to enhance the EIC Global Database.

Ceyda Celik Conroy, Business Information Manager, is responsible for researching and analysing global project information in the Power sector (Eastern Europe and FSU) and Energy & Utility projects in Russia, India and China. Ceyda also provides support for the EIC Global Database on the Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas sectors. In addition to these tasks Ceyda undertakes various specialist research tasks in the energy sector.

Neil Golding, Business Information Manager, is responsible for researching and analysing global project information in the Power sector in Southwest Europe and the Middle East, as well as Power, Biomass, Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas sector projects in India and China. Neil also provides project tracking and specific contract information to enhance the EIC Global Database.

As Senior Events Manager (overseas), Raelene Rifkind co-ordinates and manages all aspects of UK groups at international exhibitions and outward trade missions. For exhibitions, she ensures that participants are content with the organisation such as freight arrangements and stand construction. During the event, Raelene can be found at the EIC stand responding to queries and providing assistance. For trade missions, she travels with the group in a liason role to ensure the mission is run professionally. She also runs the competitive tenders for travel/freight, organises briefing meetings and handles pre-event publicity.

As Events Manager (overseas), Susan Brown co-ordinates and manages all aspects of UK groups at international exhibitions and outward trade missions. For exhibitions, she ensures that participants are content with the organisation such as freight arrangements and stand construction. During the event, Susan can be found at the EIC stand responding to queries and providing assistance. Philippa Wiffen is the Southern Region Manager, a position she has moved into following her role as EIConnect 2008 Project Manager and EIC Senior Overseas Events Manager. She is now responsible for organising a programme of events in the south of the UK.  She also develops and maintains contact with influential, southern based energy sector personnel with the objective of increasing the presence of the EIC and its Members. Working closely with the Southern Regional Committees, Isabel Milner and Darren Jones, Philippa provides a tailored service. She also has particular responsibility for the Power Sector-Based Forum and the Exploration & Production / Pipeline Sector-Based Forum.
