About the EICThe Energy Industries Council (EIC) is the leading Trade Association for UK companies that supply capital goods and services to the energy industries world-wide. The EIC is the largest organisation of its kind in the UK. Our head office is in London, and we also have offices in Aberdeen, Billingham, Houston, Singapore, Dubai and Rio de Janeiro.
Our objective is to support our members' efforts to market their products both in the UK and overseas. The EIC is a source of unparalleled business intelligence. Our unique Projects Database contains vital information on the top energy projects around the world. Our experienced staff in all our overseas offices, gather material for inclusion in our fully searchable database, which is available exclusively to our members. Members are encouraged to network via a series of regular forums covering all sectors of the industry. Each Sector-Based Forum is an opportunity for members to meet, network with other members and leading contractors/operators, and discuss and share project information. Each of our regional offices organises a variety of business and social events for our members. These include presentations from major contractors/operators, networking lunches, regional dinners plus a diverse range of social events throughout the regions. The EIC organises trade missions and attendance at major exhibitions, where members can meet and talk to influential figures from the major contractors, operators and other end users. The EIC has been successful in gaining accreditation as a UK Trade & Investment sponsor of exhibitions & trade missions. We have been awarded the highest rating, placing us in the top 20% bracket of all UK sponsors. The EIC also provides technical support in the form of workshops and seminars addressing technical issues as they evolve, in areas such as EU Directives and International Standards.
