Lesley-Anne Brodie is the Scottish Manager. She has a BA in English from Stirling University and also a postgraduate diploma in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second or foreign Language). After teaching for a number of years she diversified into a Marketing role within the oil and gas industry working for Tyco Engineering Services. Ultimately this progressed into a Business Development role for Tyco fire protection company Wormald Safety & Service.

Lesley-Anne arranges speakers and provides marketing advice and support, in liaison with her Scottish Events Manager. Her years within the oil and gas industry have led to her building up a substantial database of contacts which comes in handy when sourcing speakers (especially operators, contractors and drilling companies) for future presentations! She enjoys developing and maintaining contact with influential oil and gas and energy personnel throughout Scotland. She has particular responsibility for the two forums run from the Scottish Office – Renewables and Subsea – and is particularly committed to a full and varied regime of presentations within these areas. Lesley-Anne is keen to develop the Council's presence in Scotland and provide a friendly local service to members. She develops and maintains information and support services and acts as a focal point for EIC members activities. She works with Matt Smith, the Scottish Membership Manager, to assist in identifying and recruiting new members, and maintaining close relationships with existing members. She provides the Scottish Committee and Central Belt Steering Group with organisational and administrative support. She provides monthly Scottish News bulletins for inclusion in the EIC monthly news.
