22 May, 2020
Wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa has won a 30-year contract to provide full-scope operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the 226MW Murra Warra wind farm in Australia.
Located in the state of Victoria, the project consists of 61 3.7MW Senvion machines with 144-metre rotors.
Siemens Gamesa will also take on the wind farm’s electrical balance of the plant for the duration of the contract.
The company acquired Senvion’s onshore European assets and intellectual property in early January 2020, expanding its multi-brand service portfolio to more than 10GW globally.
