Borusan EnBW Enerji, a joint venture between German EnBW and Turkish Borusan, has successfully completed commissioning for its Saros wind farm in Turkey. Located in the Çanakkale province with 138MW of capacity, it is one of the largest wind plants in the country.
Construction works were carried out over a one-year period and involved the installation of 27 GE Cypress turbines.
With this milestone achieved, Borusan EnBW Enerji now own 720MW of operational assets in Turkey, of which 666MW is focused on onshore wind.
