Steag puts into operation two PV plants in Spain

SENS Iberica, a subsidiary of Steag Solar Energy Solutions, along with partner Aurinka International, has put into operation two of its photovoltaic (PV) projects in Spain. Combined, the plants have a capacity of 80MW.

Both the facilities, the 50MW La Cabrita and the 30MW EGA plants, were built in the Tabernas desert and have been acquired by Aquila Capital.

Another project called Tabernas 2, with 50MW of capacity, is expecting to reach start-up soon. This plant will also be transferred to Aquila Capital once finished.
