Rezolv Energy announced that additional project finance facilities have been secured for the Vifor wind farm in Romania. According to the developer, over US$380m have been granted.
Lenders include Erste Group, UniCredit Group, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and others.
The amount will fund Vifor's second development phase, guaranteeing that the facility will be built to its full capacity, 461MW. The second phase (269MW) should be operational by 2027 and will include 42 turbines.
The first phase (192MW) is now under construction, with start-up planned for next year. This initial phase will feature 30 turbines.
